Modern Slavery Statement
Committment
Push Consulting has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery encompassing slavery, servitude, human trafficking and forced labour.
We are committed ethical action, integrity and transparency in all business dealings both client and supplier facing. We are equally committed to deploying and maintaining effective systems place to safeguard against any form of modern slavery taking place within our business, including our supply chain within our knowledge.
Supply chain
Push Consulting maintains a preferred supplier list. Membership of this list is based not only on technical performance, professionalism and demonstrable value for money but on ethics and environmental credibility.
Before commissioning external suppliers we conduct online searches for recorded offences relating to modern slavery. We may terminate a supplier contract any time should any instances of modern slavery come to light.
Wherever possible we prefer to engage with suppliers and contractors directly rather than through sub-contracted, offshore or 'Gig' economy solutions.
Staff and contractors
We aim to prevent modern slavery or human trafficking from the onset of employment or contractual employment. Wherever possible we conduct pre-employment checks including eligibility to work, references, qualifications and, where necessary, criminal records checks.
Performance indicators
We measure the effectiveness of our modern slavery policy through the following Key Performance Indicators:
- Reports are received from employees, the public, or law enforcement agencies to indicate that modern slavery practices have been identified.
- Evidence that suppliers we work with continue to demonstrate vigilance and ethical working practices relating to modern slavery / human trafficking as evidenced by our due diligence processes
Pro Bono
Every month we allocate a fixed amount of Pro Bono time to help organisations.
