Esperance Tjaltjaark Native Title Aboriginal Corporation launch their first annual report
Though the vast majority of our work occurs in the For Purpose sector don't let that fool you for an instance. We have never differentiated between sectors when it comes to strategy, creative, technology and, most importantly of all, achieving deadlines.
During the strategic planning process with Esperance Tjaltjaark Native Title Aboriginal Corporation (ETNTAC) CEO Peter Bednall and Board Chair Gail Reynolds we discussed the need to raise the profile of the organisation following the successful launch of their new website. We chose an annual report as the best vehicle to demonstrate the capability, capacity, competence, values and achievements of ETNTAC. A content structure was created and copywriting, picture editing, design and layout began for the first ever ETNTAC annual report.
Unfortunately so did a global pandemic.
Whilst most businesses began fervently uploading important documentation to the cloud and learning to use Teams, Zoom and Skype we calmly carried on, well acclimatised to working virtually.
We knew that, whilst industry hibernated with furloughed staff, that the need for service for our client base would increase dramatically - stretching them considerably.
Progress on the annual report, currently a series of visuals and a content map was paused in March and, alongside most of Australia, the project went home to watch Netflix, pausing only to go out in search of toilet rolls…
In mid-June we were contacted by a very happy Peter Bednall who announced that ETNTAC were to receive a transfer of 12 reserves including farming blocks and land parcels of high environmental value by the State Government. Minister for Minister for Finance, Aboriginal Affairs, and Lands, Ben Wyatt was visiting Esperance on Thursday 25th and we were asked to assist ETNTAC with a ministerial briefing and include a copy of their new annual report!
We were confidently able to complete the research and copywriting, acquire the images and complete the artwork within one week and delivered the first ever ETNTAC annual report, plus a comprehensive Ministerial briefing, to deadline.
From planned objectives
We know all too well from our unique perspective and experience that success is always the result of great planning and execution. The messages, both explicit and implicit, contained in all of ETNTAC's media, from web and social to the annual report are all carefully crafted. The combined effect of this is to ensure that key stakeholders always see messages calculated to resonate with them and see our clients in a favourable light.
To delivered outcomes
We were delighted when ETNTAC were able to increase their capacity to expand their capacity to deliver ranger-related training, jobs and economic prosperity in Esperance with this additional land resources. This was augmented when ETNTAC crowned their trifecta as successful recipients in the 3rd round of the State Government's Aboriginal Ranger program.

And just one more thing…
Eagle eyed viewers of this Ranger funding allocation map will also spot newcomers Badgebup Aboriginal Corporation (BAC) as successful recipients of $616,000 in funding. Once again we are proud to be strategic partners to BAC and delighted that they benefitted from participation in our Pro Bono work scheme within which this bid was created - for free.
